Weekend League Kick-Off Video
Here is the long awaited video of this season’s first weekend league on May 2, 2009.

Philadelphia Freedoms - World Team Tennis
Monday, July 20th vs. Martina Navratilova and the Boston Lobsters (C)
We had a great time at the stadium outside Macy’s at The King of Prussia Mall although the Freedoms lost to Lobsters 18-23 on an unusually cool summer night. Hometown star Lisa Raymond and Nathan Healey took the game to over-time by beating Martina Navratilova and James Auckland in the final set but could not stage a comeback.

Thanks to all for coming and for your ticket purchases!

Atlantic Cup 2009
This year, Philadelphia returns to Atlantic Cup on August 7-9, 2009 at Harvard University Tennis Center, hosted by Boston Tennis4all. Team preparation is in progress for a great and proud showing. Watch this video of a rare shot in tennis which happened at our first Atlantic Cup practice.

PLTA Members at Liberty Open 2009
Eleven members participated in the GLTA event at BJK National Tennis Center. A tournament is more fun when you have home crowd support. Congrats to all for a great showing!
